Atsuhiro Ito

Atsuhiro Ito was born in 1965. He launched his career as a visual artist in the late '80s, and in '98 began presenting sound performances at art exhibitions and so on. Ito made use of fluorescent lighting (which is also an element of his art installations) in the creation of an original musical device called the optron

Voynich Manuscript & Codex Seraphinianus

The Voynich manuscript is a mysterious, undeciphered illustrated book. It is thought to have been written in the 15th or 16th century. The author, script, and language of the manuscript remain unknown.

The Codex Seraphinianus is a book written and illustrated by the Italian artist, architect and industrial designer Luigi Serafini during thirty months, from 1976 to 1978. The book is approximately 360 pages long, and appears to be a visual encyclopedia of an unknown world, written in one of its languages, a thus-far undeciphered alphabetic writing.

Both books are best viewed as less literature and instead art.

Animal Death Weed New York City Nameless Character Female Nudity

While this isn't technically my first film, this is my first production along the lines of the medium i'd like to further develop... collage film, which while i know already exists to an extent with directors like Jonas Mekas, Stan Brakhage & Bruce Conner... has dwindled in recent years & is in need of a resurrection. Utilizing the cut & paste aesthetic of hip-hop culture i've mashed up & spliced together scenes from a selection of my favourite films and thrown some of my mine & my friends noise music over the top... this is the end result.

Arnaud Loumeau

Arnaud Loumeau's drawings "feels like you find yourself in a robot mind, who is having a kaleidoscopic dream with his monsters and aliens friends spacing in a chessboard game. They are full of dazzling and vibrant colors playing together for impressing your retina."

Jeroen Diepenmaat

Dutch artist Jeroen Diepenmaat has made several interesting works involving vinyl records. [For example] loop/loop (2005), a hand cart with an LP as the wheel. Push and it plays. [Also] pour des dents d'un blanc éclatant et saines (2005) with a taxidermy bird's beak acting as the needle for the record player.

La Pequeña

La Pequeña is the moniker of a Chilean midget drag queen, who is the star of what are undoubtedly some of the creepiest viral videos to hit YouTube in recent memory. S(he) is famous for impersonating various celebrities and politicians, often while gyrating and grinding on anything and everything as terrible Eurotrash techno blared in the background.
